Northbourne Park School is a successful independent IAPS day and boarding school for boys and girls aged between Nursery and 13 years old, set in beautiful parkland between Canterbury and Deal, Kent. 

 

Teaching Assistant

From 1st September 2018 we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Classroom Assistant to provide effective and efficient support for our pupils.  The role holder will need to be an outstanding individual, with a passion and commitment to the school’s core values. The position is for one year as maternity cover.

Applicants will need to have GCSE Grade C in both English and Maths and at least an NVQ 3 in supporting Teaching & Learning in schools (or equivalent).  The person appointed will need to be caring and flexible, with a good level of literacy, numeracy and IT.  They will help promote high standards of learning and be committed to working as part of our whole staff team.

The successful candidate will supervise the care of pupils under direction and provide support to the teacher in the management of pupils.  The emphasis is on the safety and care of pupils and classroom preparation.

Salary of £17,386 and a 38 week contract.

Account Assistant

Northbourne Park School is looking for a dynamic and experienced Account Assistant. This is a varied role dealing with the general accounting work of an independent school. Reporting directly to the Bursar (i.e. Finance and Admin Manager), the successful candidate will be joining a vibrant team and environment.

This is a full-time permanent position: Monday – Friday   9.00am – 5.00pm

Salary: Competitive depending on competence and experience
