Join us at Squirrels Nursery on Thursday 1 October 2026, 10.30am to 12.30pm, to see what a morning at Northbourne Park actually looks like. Drop in any time between 10.30 and 12.30, no appointment needed.

 

Why visit

Squirrels Nursery is open for up to 48 weeks of the year, with 15 and 30-hour funded childcare available for eligible families. Children spend their days outdoors as standard, not as an occasional extra, with a covered outdoor area, woodland, orchard and a dedicated Forest School area used whatever the weather. Outcomes at the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage are consistently above national norms.

On the morning

Explore the nursery and outdoor areas at your own pace. Activities will be set up for children throughout the morning, and our Nursery Manager and members of the team will be on hand to answer questions.

Younger siblings are welcome, whether or not they are yet nursery age.

The Old Rectory, Betteshanger, Deal, Kent CT14 0NJ. Parking is available directly in front of the school. Please bring outerwear suitable for the weather, since children spend time outside as a matter of course.

Considering an older child too?

If you would also like a fuller, scheduled tour, whether for a nursery-age child or an older sibling, our Autumn Open Week runs Monday 28 September to Saturday 3 October, with a personal meeting and tour for families considering any year group from Reception to Year 9.
