Scholarships

Scholarships and Bursaries may be available for Boarders and Day children.

The Scholarships are intended to be principally academic awards, for boys and girls over the age of 8, who have already shown high promise at school.

A sum of money has been set aside by the Tormore Trustees for use as scholarship funds at Northbourne Park School.

A visit to the school must be made by candidates with their parents, and various tests may be set. The main aim of the Trustees is to foster ability in the school and preference will be shown to able children.

Children may offer specific ability in academic subjects but scholarships may sometimes be awarded to those who show musical or sporting ability.

Preliminary application for consideration for help from the Tormore Trustees  should be made to The Headmaster who will then make his recommendation to the Trustees, who will require evidence of need before making any award.

Further details of the school and its scholarships and bursaries may be obtained, and appointments made, through the School Administrator, or by e-mail to:office@northbourne.kent.sch.uk
