There was great excitement at the Old Rectory last week, when a fire crew from Deal Fire Station visited, with their fire engine! The Nursery and Reception classes have been thinking about 'People who help us', both in and out of school.  The firemen talked to all the children about the importance of smoke alarms at home and showed them their uniform and equipment.  The children were able to have a go at using a water hose and have a look inside the fire engine.
