Who we are

The Friends of Northbourne Park bring together parents, staff and other supporters of the school through a range of social, cultural and other activities. A number of fun events and social activities are organised by the Friends throughout the year with the aim of raising funds for the school and bringing the school community together in a social surroundings – so that we get to see each other in a more enjoyable environment than just the school car park!

Raising money for Northbourne Park

Each year we raise around £10,000 which is contributed back to the school for specific purchases such as whiteboards, stage lighting etc.

We run activities which are fun for parents and children and generally attract a good turnout. During the year, you’ll be invited to events such as the bonfire party, Christmas Fair, quiz night and we usually have one major summer event to round off the year.

And we’re not just about taking money from people! We also host an annual Christmas entertainment event for the children and for the parents too.
