The boarders went to the lovely village of Rye last Sunday, 19^th April where they had an ice cream and found out from the locals which famous pop star lives there (Paul McCartney to the uninitiated!) We then went to Lydd for some go-kart racing where Charles Beaussant proved to be the Lewis Hamilton of Northbourne, one of the gaps the Sunday driver and Adrien Bougon the freestyle specialist! He decided that he would plough through the tyre wall and see how far up the grass bank his momentum would take him….!

We also found time to write letters home.
