There was much excitement at the Old Rectory when we were visited by a Kent Fire & Rescue crew from Deal Fire Station. All the children were given a fire safety talk, highlighting the importance of smoke alarms at home.
The children were then able to climb aboard the fire engine and look at all the fire fighting equipment on board. A final treat was being able to use the water hose!
