Congratulations to Arran Hope on being named runner-up in the national Cracking Ideas competition. Following his success in being named the regional winner for the South East for his Referee invention,  Arran paid a special visit to London in early November to be congratulated and accept his prizes from children's presenter Gareth Jones.

Arran had a wondeful day which included meeting Wallace and Gromit and receiving a host of prizes including a brand new laptop for the school. Well done Arran and many thanks to Sarah Rothwell for organising our participation in the competition.  Arran has become somewhat of a local celebrity with appearances on local tv and radio.
