Parents' comments about Northbourne Park Pre-Prep

"What a pleasure it was to visit the children and staff at The Old Rectory on Mon 30th Jan. I was impressed by the warm welcome and ease with which I was shown around by all the staff. The children arrived without fuss and seemed very relaxed as they went about their daily routines. There was a pleasant and calm atmosphere; where anything seemed possible. The rooms are well decorated and carpeted, which enhances the artistic informative and talented displays done by the children.

The staff seemed happy and worked well together dealing with situations in a kind, caring and sensitive way, with tolerance and a sense of humour much in evidence. I loved the box of fresh fruit being cut up for morning snack, in the kitchen, and the way the teachers sat with groups of children when they were eating, making even the three year olds aware of table manners. There was a great buzz of conversation throughout and much buttering of bread! I witnessed a great Assembly with prayers and stories, and a most interesting history lesson about Victorian times. I was very pleased to see the bag of "spare gloves" being handed out to keep small hands warm at mid-morning break". Jo Taylor-Williams (Governor)
