Sports Day

Sports Day had finally arrived.  The sun shone, the parents came to watch and the children were ready to race.

We had a wide range of races from the classic egg and spoon to hop, skip and jump as well as the children’s favourite the running race. All the children entered into the spirit of the day, trying their hardest to do their best.

As ever the parents were keen to prove they were the fastest and took part competitively but safely in their own races.

This year the Year 7 and 8’s came to watch and cheer on all the children at the Pre-Prep. They also reminisced about when they had run in these races when they were small.

After the races all the children received a special medal to celebrate their achievements in PE this year and to commemorate the Olympics.
