Deal Fire & Rescue Crew visit Pre-Prep 
The Pre-Prep children were very excited to see a fire engine and team of firemen arrive at the Old Rectory recently. They had been invited into school to talk to the children about their work and fire safety as part of the Personal & Social Education curriculum.

The firemen showed the children their uniform and equipment, and talked to them about how they put fires out and the importance smoke alarms. The children had a good look around the fire engine, heard the siren and then all had a go at using the hosepipe!
