The ethos of the senior school at Northbourne Park is very much that of a school which provides full time boarding facilities for its children.

More than a third of the children at the senior school live at the school and we place a great emphasis on creating a comfortable atmosphere which feels like home.

Our boarding house is run by a team of staff ensuring that each child is well looked after and happy.

A full range of activities fill the boarders' free time. Outings include trips to London, to the theatre and bowling, and the children enjoy barbecues on the beach throughout the summer.

Every second weekend is free for children to spend time with their famililies or friends. Boarders are often welcomed into the homes of local day children with parents' permission.

The school operates a fortnightly minibus service to London and offers accompanied travel to France and Spain at certain times.
