My cross country competition

Webteam member and keen runner Bella took forward in the Stevens Waiman cross-country contest here at Northbourne Park in early March. She tells us how she got on..

On Tuesday, I took part in the Stevens Waiman cross country race. The boys raced first - the first boy in was from Dulwich Prep. Then the girls race started. I was very scared. First we ran around top pitch and through the woods and came out by the hockey pitch and down the lime tree walk and then down to the church. I was really out of breath by then! Then we ran round the Old Rectory and up the hill. When I was near the finish, I sprinted and overtook 2 people! The girls' team came 5th and the boys' team came 6th.
