A Farewell to Chris Berriman

Thank you to everyone who has sent in their ticket forms (there is still time to download one here if you haven’t already)

            We are hoping that the afternoon will be a happy, sociable and informal occasion to celebrate Chris Berriman’s years at the school and reunite him with some familiar faces.

Four main musical events are planned and will have been pre-rehearsed here in the weeks running up to the big day. The rest of the afternoon will have a more organic feel and will provide an opportunity for the many former music scholars and pupils, some of whom have expressed a wish to sing or play, to participate. Please bring your instrument and music and join in with some well known pieces by the choir, some group singing and impromptu playing.  You are also invited to meet at the Hare and Hounds in Northbourne from 12:30pm to say hello to Chris and catch up with old friends before coming on to the school at 2pm

   If you are able to be here early enough, we would also like to draw your attention to Chris Berriman's final church service, at 10am on the 21st June. The service, which will be lead by the Revd. Katie Jones, here at St Mary's Betteshanger, will have a suitably musical theme and you are very welcome to join us
